You know the feeling of a local market. The fresh air, the booth conversations, the sound of people laughing over a table full of handmade goods, and the joy of discovering something that feels different.

That is where this story lives now. But for me, it started much earlier, with my father, Horace.

Horace loved pork rinds. If there was a bag nearby, he was in it. It was his go-to snack, his little slice of comfort. But I kept looking at the kinds of pork rinds he was eating and thinking one thing: my father deserved better.

The Crispy Oink is not just a business. It is a standard.

It is about making a simple snack feel worthy of the people we love.

Why Quality Matters

You do not settle for “okay” when it comes to the people you love. So why settle for it in your food?

I set out to create a snack worthy of Horace. I wanted a crunch that felt like an event. I wanted flavors that felt bold, honest, and memorable. I wanted every batch to carry the kind of care that says someone paid attention.

The Crispy Oink is built on that standard. We do not want the snack to feel ordinary. We want it airy, puffy, golden, crispy, and full of personality.

We focus on the details: the texture, the seasoning, the flavor balance, the way the bag feels in your hand, and the way people react when they take that first bite.

Our Churro pork rinds were not an accident. They came from trial, error, tasting, adjusting, and searching for that perfect balance of sweet and salty. Every flavor has its own personality, and every bag represents the work behind it.

My father taught me that if you are going to do something, do it right. I took that to heart.

From Our Booth to Your Table

You might have seen us at a local market. Look for the black tablecloths, the rustic wooden details, the Crispy Oink sign, and the bags that make people stop and ask questions.

That is where the family hustle happens. It is where I get to meet customers face-to-face, offer samples, hear what people love, and watch someone’s eyes light up when they find their flavor.

That connection is why we do this. We are not a faceless corporation hiding behind a logo. We are people who love good food and believe you do, too.
